Hair in Mexico 1968 :
Mexican soldiers came looking for us after the premiere performance of HAIR in Mexico City. We hid under the bunk beds where we were staying. I remember seeing soldiers' boots entering the room and looking around. The show was closed down after one performance and the doors of the theatre were boarded up. About a week later, after hiding in the hills, strings were pulled and we were rushed onto a waiting plane at the airport.
